Our highly professional staff are dedicated to the enhancement of existing safety provisions and equipment as well as the development of innovative safety systems. Providing such safe and healthy working environment enables all workers to improve their working efficiency and augment the quality of health and safety at works.

Yau Lee adopts the international OHSAS 18001 System to ensure occupational safety and health. Our past safety performance record had been exemplary. Winner of numerous safety awards, Yau Lee achieved a very low accident rate, consistently over 50% lower than the industrial average.
Health & Safety Policy
1. Fully consider safety and health in the stage of work planning and site layout design.

2. The Company commits to adopting a high standard of safety and health practice in carrying out its construction projects.

3. Safety and Health shall be considered in equality to production and cost.

4. Reasonably practicable measures shall be adopted to fulfill the statutory and contractual requirements in respect of occupational safety and health.

5. Provide adequate and appropriate resources to implement this policy.

6. Ensure all levels of employees are appropriately trained and competent to carry out their responsibilities.

7. The target of safety and health improvement shall be to reduce the annual accident rate, and to achieve better results in the auditing of safety performance.

8. To establish a safety management culture that yearns for continuous self-improvement and elevation of safety and health standards.

9. Safety and Health is the prime responsibility of each level of management personnel, from the top management to the front-line supervision. Every employee has the responsibility to maintain the safety and health at work and shall be dedicated as well as exercising team spirit in the promotion of work safety.

Electrically operated protective netting to protect workers at steel bending yards adjacent to all buildings under construction.
Concrete skip outlet installed with geared gate operated by steering wheel for better control of the speed and quantity of concrete transfer.
Vehicle traffic control at all site entrances and exit.
